our recent stay at quinta san francisco in castrojeriz was truly exceptional. the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, along with the warm and welcoming staff, made our celebration anniversary unforgettable. the beautiful architecture, comfortable beds, and delicious meals prepared with garden-fresh ingredients exceeded all our expectations. we highly recommend this hidden gem in the spanish countryside.

We were pleased to find large rooms at this brand-new hotel. Stunning location of the property on the camino route.

Location: the hotel was short walk to with views of the surrounding fields, the center of town, and the restaurant. Furthermore, on the hill. The room was large and new-fashioned and offered a shower, hair dryers and towels, so that guests had essentials.

Location: the hotel was so close to a very nicely designed garden and fruit orchard, with views of the surrounding fields, the restaurant and the center.

The rooms are large and exceptional and they have central heating, an individual safe and a writing desk.

Quinta San Francisco is my go-to place in Castrojeriz. The staff helped me find my way on my first visit. With free Wi-Fi, parking, and a restaurant, it suits me perfectly. I can't wait to come back for a weekend getaway.

The tour desk was so helpful, they hooked us up with the sickest activities like horseback riding and a rad hot air balloon ride. And dude, the luggage storage space was clutch, we could stash our bags and bounce around town stress-free. It was like having our own personal concierge and storage unit, totally boss!

Only thing is, we were kind of hoping for some more party vibes. Like, it would've been awesome if they had a sick bar or maybe organized some cool events for young peeps.

The tour desk was super helpful in planning our family outings, and the luggage storage space made it easy for us to explore without the burden of our bags. It was like having our own personal travel agency and storage room right at our fingertips!

My kids wished there was a dedicated play area for children.

My stay at Quinta San Francisco was simply amazing. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the charm of this hidden gem. The remnants of the old convent walls and façade added a touch of history to the place, and the surrounding countryside was absolutely breathtaking. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and I had a restful night's sleep. The personal and warm welcome from the staff made me feel right at home. The beautifully designed garden and fruit orchard provided a peaceful atmosphere, and I can only imagine how lovely it must be in the warmer months. Although I didn't have the chance to use it, the spa looked fantastic. The entire property was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, and the fireplace in the central unit added a cozy touch. The well-stocked do-it-yourself drink shop was a unique feature that I appreciated. The separate restaurant served delicious meals prepared by a local chef. I would highly recommend Quinta San Francisco for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

Although the small shop on-site provided snacks and drinks, I feel that a warm lunch option, such as soup or sandwiches, would enhance the dining experience. Additionally, it would have been wonderful to have an outdoor jacuzzi or hot tub to relax in after a long day of hiking.

We booked a double room, it was modern.
